Swiss residents were allowed to pay taxes in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum back in 2021.
According to the latest data, the authorities raised the minimum threshold from CHF 100,000 to CHF 1,500,000 ($1,67 million).
The government’s cryptocurrency partner is Bitcoin Suisse, which converts digital assets into Swiss francs.
To date, about 150 transactions have already been made and taxes of CHF 2,000,000 ($2.22 million) have been collected!
