QIWI introduces temporary restrictions on fund withdrawals from electronic wallets to bank accounts and cash withdrawals in response to the orders of the Central Bank after conducting an inspection of the payment system.
Now QIWI users are facing limitations on withdrawing funds and transferring money to cards of other banks. The limit is 1000 rubles per month. Additionally, money transfers through the quick payment system and contacts, cash withdrawals even at the company’s offices, and repayment of loans issued by microfinance organizations become unavailable.
The new restrictions came into effect on the evening of July 25th, and it is currently unknown how long they will be in place. However, QIWI expresses hope that necessary improvements will be made in the near future.
